| Anders says the weight came out at 500g The 'pod' and wing leading edge is covered with Solarfilm, the boom just doped. |
Surprisingly this is the first time I have seen Snoopy at the controls of a SkyBug, a natural choice I think ! | |
| And now........ on floats !! | ||

It looks like Snoopy got
the boot !! These floats are from
a pre-production kit from 'RBC Kits'. Anders has made
these floats easily removeable and adjustable in angle
via the rear link. |
|
| And even skis !!! | ||
| Anders says, '....so I went out for
some skiing, SkyBug type. All went well, take-off and
flying were without problems. Landings in soft snow (knee-deep!)
have to be made with wings level and straight into wind.
There is a risk of the skis "cutting down" into the soft snow. On a snow-ploughed field, it is just like landing on wheels. A tail ski is not necessary.' |
