SkyBug Mk 2 by Cees Kraaijeveld and son Robert of
Barendrecht, Netherlands |
| I was looking for a parkflyer-model
for my 6-year old son, who wants to be a model pilot just
like his dad ;-) Your "Skybug -2" seems to be
the right model for him! I just flew the Skybug for the first time....very nice flyer, very stable and perfect for beginners (= my 6 year old son), nice kit too! Mine weighs 575 gms with Graupner geared Speed400 and 3 Tanic 1500mAh Lipo cells, 10 minutes of full power... |

Hi Graham, today I made some pictures of the 'SkyBug'. The model performs very well, flight times about 15 minutes are no exception, I used 3 1500mAh Lipos. Handling is very gentle and perfect for beginners, today I put the transmitter on the ground and drank a cup of soda, while the Skybug was in the air. |

| 1912 Filey Flyer by Gregory A. Knipp of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, USA She weighs in at 21oz AUW, powered by a Graupner 7.2v SPEED 400 with a 2.33:1 gearbox, prop. is a Master Airscrew Electric Wood 10x6. The covering is done with cream Solite, a Solarfilm product from England. The pilot 'Chumly' is a Graham McAllister hand carved job. The model is called 'Lori Ann' after my lovely wife. This plane was a pleasure to build and quite easy for the novice builder to complete with satisfying results. |
